Erin Moldenhauer - Bib #11
I have been running marathons since I was 28. I started off easy, just finishing marathons around 4 hours. As the years went by I became more and more structured and committed to improving my times. Over the last couple of years, I hired my coach Tyler Morey from North Coast Running and he helped me run five sub 3 hour marathons consecutively.
Emma Kertesz - Bib #2
Emma Kertesz is native of Toledo, Ohio who now resides in Boulder, Colorado training with The Track Club. She was a 2012 graduate from the University of Toledo, where she was a 10,000 meter All American. Emma is a two-time Olympic Marathon Trials qualifier (2016, 2020). When she’s not running she’s an Assistant Director at a preschool in the Boulder area.
Katie Swor - Bib #9
Katie Swor (Wyandotte, MI) is the Assistant Operations Director for the Detroit Free Press Marathon. She runs with several groups in the Detroit area including the Downriver Runners out of Allen Park. Passionate about supporting other runners and growing the SEMI running community, she helps produce races with Trivium Racing and produced the Fall Flannel and Motivation Marathons.
Katie ran Bayshore in 2016 when first trying to qualify for Boston, running a 3:32:31. Running is the one time in her day to decompress, do something for herself, and set big, scary goals. Qualifying for Boston became dipping below 3:00:00, which led to dipping below 2:50:00. No matter the number on the clock, the goal is always commitment to hard work, chasing dreams, and advancing the local running community. She is mother to a five-year-old, who's been dipping his toes in the occasional Kids Run.

I am a Michigan native. I grew up in Dimondale, Michigan, and, now live in Newburgh, Indiana. I currently run for the Newburgh Evansville Running Corporative (NERC). I ran cross country for Central Michigan University in the fall of 2017 as a walk on. I most recently ran my first marathon, the CNO Finacial Group Indianapolis Monumental Marathon, in October and finished with a time of 2:44:46.
Emma Howe - Bib #8
Originally from Novi, Michigan, Emma started running when she attended Boston College in 2018. She was casually running until the fall of 2021 when she decided to test her limits and set her sights on a Boston Marathon Qualifying time. Though she had no background in competitive running, Emma signed up and ended up winning the Charles River Marathon with a time of 3:10:55. After this accomplishment, her friends and fiancé encouraged her to join the Boston Hares Tracksmith racing team to try her hand at going sub 3 hours in the marathon. She started working with a coach in spring 2021 (shoutout Katie Kellner) and achieved this goal at the 2022 Mount Desert Island Marathon where she ran a 2:56:43. From there, Emma had her eyes set on breaking 2:50 in the marathon and did so at the 2023 Maine Marathon with a time of 2:48:55. She could not be more excited to continue to test her running potential and one day qualify for the Olympic trials. In her free time, she loves spending time with her fiancé, Matt, her wonderful friends and family, and being outside (especially hiking).
Luciana Bartholomew - Bib #6
Luciana joins us again after a 5th place overall female in 2022. “I loved it! The course, the atmosphere, the people, everything was great.”

David Evans - Bib #31
I live in Ann Arbor, MI, but I am an Indiana native. I am the president and coach of Working Man's Track Club, which is primarily located in Indianapolis (though we take runners from anywhere in the country). In college, I was an assistant coach for the Purdue XC and Track & Field teams, but my biggest accomplishment to boast is that I did not fail Calc II. I've been away from the half marathon for a little bit, but I'm eager to give it another shot at Bayshore!
Some PRs:
5K: 14:57
8K: 24:47
Milk Mile: 6:03
Joe Darda - Bib #32
Joseph Darda is a runner from East Lansing. He holds PRs of 2:24:09 in the marathon and 1:10:00 in the half. He has won eleven marathons, including the Cowtown Marathon, the Seattle Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon, and his hometown Yakima River Canyon Marathon, and placed in the top three at the San Francisco Marathon and the Seattle Marathon. He ran cross country and track at the University of Washington.
Drew Seabase - Bib #26
My name is Drew and I am currently running for Michigan state university. I am a cross country and 10k runner for the university with a 10k PR of 30:16. I ran the Cherry Fest half marathon in 2023 and won with a time of 1:10:14! I’m eager to race the Bayshore this year! It’ll be fun!
Max Hoffman - Bib #28
I am a runner currently based out of Columbus, Ohio and competing post collegiately. In undergrad I competed for Otterbein University, a Division III program in Westerville, Ohio. In college I was a 2 x qualifier for the NCAA Division III XC Championships in 2018 and 2019, as well as an OAC 10000m champion on the track. Since graduation, my focus has shifted to the roads and longer distances. The half marathon has been my personal favorite. My personal best at the half marathon distance came in 2022 at the Gary Bjorkland half marathon in Minnesota where I ran 1:06:44. It has a PR that has stood a bit too long for my liking and I hope to better it at Bayshore in May! In addition to that, my personal best over 10k is 29:43 from the Columbus 10k in 2022. Racing at a high level is something that I am extremely passionate about, and I am very committed to chasing my goals on the roads!
Nick DeHaven - Bib #29
I ran my first half in 1:08:01 at Greenville, South Carolina. I'm one year out of college working for the government as an urban planner in Cleveland. I'm a 4:06 miler, 8:13 3k, 14:37 5k runner, but I'm slowly transitioning to the roads.
I'm familiar with the bay area from my childhood and would love to come back and run the race.
Jeff Zenger - #33
Jeff lives in Fort Wayne, Indiana and has primarily focused on mountain ultra trail running throughout his twenties, including completing many iconic ultramarathon races such as the Leadville Trail 100 and the Ultra Trail Du Mont Blanc 100 (UTMB). Living and training in the flatlands with the Three Rivers Running Elite club, he has more recently grown to appreciate the difficulty in training and competing in flatter road races at a high level as well, and has been enjoying the process of coming back down in distance to the (more sensible) half and full marathons. He has run the Bayshore Marathon the last two years (both PRs!) and it has easily become his favorite and most recommended race, so he is thrilled for the opportunity to try out the iconic point-to-point half marathon course this year. Jeff has recently taken up speed disc-golf as a fun way to keep his runs interesting, and is expecting his first (two!) children with his wife later this summer.
